WhatsApp surpasses 2 billion users

The application is the second largest service after the social network Facebook. A similar number of social network users – 2 billion – was reached in 2017.

The mobile messaging application WhatsApp was released in 2009, and in 2014 it was acquired by Facebook for $ 19 billion. In 2017, the number of messenger users reached 1 billion.
